Our mission at Grace Hospitality, a unique hotel and resort management company, is to cultivate long term relationships with owners and team members built on trust and integrity, resulting in remarkable hospitality for our guests.

OWNERSHIP

Grace Hospitality is a subsidiary of the W.M. Grace Companies headquartered in Phoenix Arizona. W.M. Grace Companies was founded in 1966 and specializes in commercial real estate development, general contracting, hospitality, and gaming. W.M.Grace Companies also offers architectural design, construction and financing.

THE LEADERSHIP

Our hotel management company is led by Vice President and Managing Director Jody Harwood. She founded the organization over 20 years ago and is the senior executive on the staff. Prior to her tenure with Grace, Jody was an executive with Park Lane Hotels. Jody is the past Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Arizona Hotel & Lodging Association. She was recognized as the Arizona Hotelier of the year in 2000 and was inducted into the Association’s Hall of Fame in 2005. Steven Carver is the Grace Hospitality’s Vice President of Operations. He began his tenure with Grace in 1993. Prior to his tenure with Grace he was with Atlas Hotels in San Diego, California for 15 years serving in a variety of senior General Manger positions. Those positions included the leadership of the 375 room Pacifica Hotel and Conference Center in Culver City, California, the 425 room Hanalei Hotel in San Diego, California, and the 200 room Sunburst Hotel and Conference Center in Scottsdale, Arizona. Patricia Ellenburg (“Trish”) is Grace Hospitality’s Chief Financial Officer. Her professional experiences include 8 years in commercial lending with Citibank, 6 years in the specialty consulting practice of Arthur Andersen LLP, and 16 years in hospitality consulting. She has represented buyers and sellers in multiple hotel transactions, including the acquisition and capitalization of a 105-room boutique hotel in Phoenix, Arizona. Trish graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Finance degree from Arizona State University (1983). She also received her Masters of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Arizona State University (1991).
